In the book You’re Bacon Me Crazy by Suzanne Nelson you will get to know more about Tessa and The Tasty Truck. Tessa’s stomach goes a flutter when she sees the new addition to The Tasty Truck. Tessa’s friend Mei starts spending all her time with her new boyfriend, Tessa feels like a third wheel. Tessa finds out The tasty Truck isn’t doing well and might go down. Lions of Little Rock

Lions of Little Rock takes place in 1958 when they still had segregation in Little rock, Arkansas.The main character Marlee goes to a white school. One day a new girl came and joined Marlee’s class. Marlee is a very shy girl she is not social at all she never talks to anybody. The only person Marlee ever talks to is her sister and her dad she rarely talks to her mom. Then the worst thing happens to Marlee her sister has to move to  Pine Bluff.  That is like losing your best friend to Marlee. Then the next day the teacher makes the new girl introduce herself. Her name is Elizabeth Nickname: Liz. Liz is a very adventurous girl. A few weeks later Liz and Marlee became best friends. Then one day Liz was not at school then the mean girl sally said I think i saw her yesterday holding a black kids hand. Then the next day Marlee went to the zoo to see if Liz was there Marlee saw a strange person sitting on the bench it was Liz! Soon it was Halloween Liz and Marlee were supposed to go trick or treating together. When Marlee was on her way she bumped into  Liz. Liz was with her little brother Tommy when they saw the big bully RED with his younger brother James Thomas(JT) they were throwing eggs at Marlee’s old teacher. A little while later Tommy was at baseball practice and Liz and Marlee went to the rock crusher Red and JT followed them and Red pushed Marlee ave and Marlee hit her knee on something. What? We finally got together – we have everyone that we know but Number Five. We started as a whole society on a planet called Lorien. Then we were attacked by the Mogadorians and they were going to send ten of us Lorics away but number ten didn’t make it. We flew through space for one year then we reached Earth. Our Cepans took us away and started to train us to fight. They caught One in Malaysia. Then Two in London. And Three in a jungle. Now we are together we fought and lost then regrouped and now we have numbers and strengths. This is our beginning that was when we started to join together. Now join us as we journey to find Five and find old allies. We will face some challenges and build new legacies.

Isla loses her family and has to find them. Her family is Ma, Fa, Pirie, and Greatma. Isla went into the forest a little to deep and when she got home her family was not there. She ventures of into the wildlands and into the great snarl also known as, the city. In the city she meets a dog and gets attacked. Someone saves her and she doesn’t know who did it. She follows the person who saved her and finds out that the person is using something called Foxcraft. His name is Siffrin and he has come to find an elder that has gone missing. He helps Isla find her family and finds out he was in Karkas Skulk. Is Siffrin a spy for them or not?

One of my favorite books is Where the Sidewalk Ends.  It is a book of poems. My favorite poem in the book is Ickle Me, Pickle Me, Tickle Me Too.  This poem rhymes, and as soon as you start reading it you want to read the whole poem! Not all poems rhyme or are funny but they all seem to tell their own short story.

Giant Days Volume.2

In this story, friends Susan, Esther, and Daisy are in  college and are trying to find their meaning in life. Esther and Susan both deal with hard relationships. Daisy is single and looking  for a girlfriend. In the end they all realized that friendship can make everything better.

This is Volume 2 of a 46 part series. This book reminds me of the show friends because they all deal with hard relationship and the 6 friends stick together just like Esther, Susan and Daisy. 

I would recommend this book for readers that are 10 and up because in some parts there are a little grown-up scenes that little kids wouldn’t under stand.
