Scary Creatures: Wolves

March14

I like this book because the book is about wolves. It shows facts and X-ray vision. The book has a picture of a wolf trap and a map where some wolves live. The book has a lot of information.  In the book there are facts about why people hunt them. People hunt wolves because they make coats out of their fur.

I Survived The Children’s Blizzard, 1888

March14

I Survived The Children’s Blizzard, 1888 by Lauren Tarshis

John was used to living in the city.  He moved to Dakota when his parents saw an opportunity to have a farm. The land was free, his parents were happy, but John hated it. At school nobody talks to him except for Franny. Then, a blizzard cloud was coming in fast. John was headed toward the soddy, faster then ever. The storm got him, but he made it back to the soddy, he was safe.

That was the start, winter was coming early, people said. The birds flew early, and the temparature was cold. The people in John’s family went and fed the animals in the high snow. Nobody knew what was coming next. A day comes when it is warm and John gets sent back to school.

Another cloud rolls in, snowing harder then the last one. Then rescue arrives, John hops on and the horse gets hit by a piece of the school roof, WHAM! The horse knocks off the driver and starts running wild. John jumps off with the other boys he made friends with, but will he make it to safety before the cold gets him?

Breaking Dawn

March5

Most people stop reading fairy tales at a certain age, like Cinderella, Little Red riding Hood, or Jack and the Beanstalk. But someday you might go back to reading fantasy like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, or the Twilight series. I am here to give you a report on the book Breaking Dawn by, Stephenie Meyer, I would give this book a five star rating ***** and you are going to see why…

Bella’s day starts off ordinary, except for the part that she knew she was going to marry a vampire. Her biggest wish in life was to be a vampire so she could have Edward forever. The day of her wedding came around very quick. Of course Alice was the one to plan the wedding and for once Bella loved her work. The wedding was beautiful and was full of flowers. It lasted a long time and everyone loved it. After the wedding Edward surprised Bella with an amazing honeymoon, and they went to an island close to Rio. After a few weeks there, Bella finds out she is going to have a child, a vampire child. At first they think the child is completely vampire, and this worries them because a complete vampire child must be destroyed. The reason for that is, a few hundred years ago the Voltierie, a very big group of vampires, set out to destroy all vampire children. The bad thing was the vampire children would eat anyone in their sight. But they soon find that their daughter is not all vampire but she is half, and can still kill Bella. So they fly back home and do their best to save Bella but end up turning her into a vampire. After saving Bella they do everything to save their daughter, but something unexpected comes up and it has something to do with a very big fight and the Voltierie. So what happens to Bella, Edward, and their daughter … do they survive, and what happens if they do?

Then Marlee ends up having to hide her friendship with Liz. Next Marlee ends up finding something dangerous. Then Red, JT’s older brother, figures out Marlee has it and takes it back, hiding it in his trunk. Marlee ends up joining the WEC and trying to stop segregation and stop the high school being closed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

By:J.K Rowling

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is great book because Harry doesn’t know that he is a wizard. Harry also doesn’t know that his parents were wizards and that they were killed by Lord Voldemort, a very powerful wizard. Harry kept on getting letters from Hogwarts. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia were not letting him read the letters. A few days later, they went to a cabin in the middle of nowhere. It was Harry’s birthday. His aunt and uncle didn’t care. Then Hagrid came to the cabin and told Harry the whole story about him and his parents and that he was going to Hogwarts.

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia agreed to bringing Harry to the train station. When he got there he found a wizard family named the Weasley’s. They were super nice to Harry. When Harry got to Hogwarts everybody was so surprised to see him. Severus Snape looked mean to Harry. Is Snape mean? Is Harry going to like Hogwarts?
